The Holiday season is upon us! We are gearing up for great holiday sales, and hope that you will participate in our efforts to make this a profitable season for you.
Our upcoming Gallery Tour will be on December 6th, 2012. A sign-up sheet for food and desk volunteers has been placed at the desk in the Main Gallery. Please sign up by November 30th so that we can plan a wonderful evening.
The Huntsville Art League will be having our annual Christmas Boutique from November 27th to January 1st at the Main Gallery. As you may know, our exhibitors are invited to bring additional inventory to sell at the gallery during this time. See details below…
- Items priced at $20 – $85 are generally top sellers for the holiday season. I encourage you to offer small works and miniatures, as these items are great for gifts.
- The commission rate for Art League exhibitors who have passed Standards is 65/35 (artist’s favor) for the Christmas Boutique.
- Non-exhibiting members of the Art League may also submit items to the Christmas Boutique. Upon acceptance to the Boutique, these items will sell at a commission rate of 50/50.
To submit items to sell in the Christmas Boutique, please bring all items to the Main Gallery at the Huntsville Art League as soon as possible. Place your items, along with a completed inventory tag, near the desk as you would for Change-Out.
All items will be arranged and displayed by gallery personnel.
The Christmas Boutique will end on January 1, 2013. Artists will be responsible for collecting any unsold work by January 15th, 2013.
