Martina Dyer grew up in a tiny German village, where she developed a love of nature and art. Her art plans were detoured by marriage, immigration to the United States, and a pursuit of a career in physiological psychology. After a move to Huntsville, Alabama, she became a full time artist.
Her art topics include landscapes, and more recently, figurative paintings, where she explores shapes and colors, and the emotions and interpretations they evoke.
In the spring of 2013, Martina was awarded signature membership by the Alabama Watercolor Society.
