“The medium of watercolor allows me to wander through styles, constantly adapting to moods and whims. The expediency of the medium provides a creative indulgence with near-term payoffs. The art of watercolors is a counterbalance to my technical/logical mind.”
Scott has painted, off and on, for 15 years, splitting time between hobbies and activities too numerous to mention. As competing interests have fallen by the wayside, he has been able to apply more time to the art and craft of painting. Scott studied with local artist Chuck Long for a time but is otherwise self-taught.
Scott has been married to Sharon for nearly three decades, and together they own and operate Ryan Creek Technology, a computer services business. They split their time between Madison and Crane Hill, AL.
