We have some wonderful news to share with you! The Huntsville Art League’s SmART Project was awarded funding by The Arts Council! This is the first round of grant funding from the city of Huntsville designated for the arts, ever. We are honored to not only receive the funding, but to be a part of this important step for the arts in Huntsville. Thank you, Arts Council and city of Huntsville!
The SmART Project is an arts education program. SmART features an integrated arts curriculum that combines art and behavioral therapy. The SmART classes will service students on the Autism spectrum at the Cardinal School of Huntsville. We are thrilled that The Arts Council shares our vision for this program, and is helping us expand our services.
We are so proud to offer this arts service to the community of Huntsville. The SmART project is a collaboration between the Art League, the HSV Alliance for Arts Education, the Cardinal School, The Arts Council, and of course, the city of Huntsville.
Please stay tuned for updates as the granting process develops. We will keep you posted on our progress, and hope you will join us in support of this wonderful opportunity!
Yours in Service,
